Dooitu DIY | FIMO Fruit Coaster

⛱🥤 We all love our balcony vacations in the sun, especially when our delicious iced tea is safe from bugs! These fruit cup covers can also be used as coasters and thanks to the neon FIMO effect, they provide a flash of vibrant colors in your little jungle. We showed you how to make your own fruity kiwis, juicy melons and even exotic dragon fruit with FIMO neon pink and neon green effect

🥝 Step-by-step tutorial: Kiwis

1 - For the kiwi, you need half a block of neon green effect FIMO, 1 strip of white soft FIMO and half a strip of black soft FIMO. Roll out the neon green FIMO so that it is flat and evenly distributed and cut or punch a circle (about 7.5 cm).

2 - Mix the rest of the neon green FIMO with half of the white FIMO to form an even light green ball and form a flat oval on one side. You also need a white circle and a dark kiwi skin. To create the skin, mix the remaining green with a little black and place the rolled band around the green circle. Place the light green oval and white circle in the center on top of each other and carefully roll the different layers together until your circle is 9.5 cm in diameter.

3 - For the small seeds, roll out a strand of soft black FIMO and cut small portions with the blade. Make small balls and place them on your kiwi ring. Now all you have to do is cut a hole for the straw.

💟 Step by Step Tutorial: Dragon Fruit

1 - Cut half a block of white soft FIMO, a strip of neon pink effect FIMO and half a strip of black soft FIMO for your dragon fruit. Lay out the white FIMO so that it is flat and evenly spread and cut or punch a circle (about 7.5 cm).

2 - For the bright skin of the fruit, roll out a thin band with neon pink FIMO and place it around the white circle. Press the two rings together and roll them with the acrylic roller until your circle is about 9.5 cm in diameter.

3 - You can create the little seeds by rolling a band of soft black FIMO and cutting small portions with the blade. Then create little balls and press them into the white circle. The lid now just needs a hole for the straw.

🍉 Tutorial step by step: Watermelon

1 - To make the watermelon, you need half a block of neon pink FIMO effect, one strip of neon green FIMO effect, one strip of white FIMO soft and half a strip of black FIMO soft. First, lay out the neon pink FIMO effect so that it is flat and spread evenly and cut out or punch out a circle (about 7.5 cm).

2 - Roll out two strips with the white and neon green FIMO and place them around the neon pink circle. Carefully press the rings together and roll them up until your circle is about 9.5 cm in diameter.

3 - The watermelon seeds are teardrop shaped and the pointed ends point toward the center of the circle. Roll out a strand of soft black FIMO as before and cut small portions with the blade. Create small drops by rolling the balls to one side with your fingers and add them to the circle.

**Don't forget the hole for the straw! Harden all FIMO parts on baking paper in oven for 30 minutes at 110°C top and bottom heat. When the glass lids have cooled, you can pass the straws through the lids and place them on your glass.
