Dooitu DIY | FIMO leather-effect Halloween pumpkin

🖤 What would Halloween be without a special outfit? And if you prefer a quirky look instead of spooky accessories, these stylish pumpkin earrings made of FIMO leather-effect are just the thing! They complete any costume perfectly and are a real eye-catcher at this year‘s Halloween party! 👻💀🦇

**How to: **

1- Cut two black-colored leather effect FIMO strips and knead them gently with your hands. Now spread the FIMO clay into a 0.5 mm thick sheet with the acrylic roller. Tip: The skin effect is even more noticeable if, after spreading the skin effect FIMO sheet, you gently move it again with your hands and pull it away slightly. Then place the FIMO sheet on baking paper.

2- Use the cutter (not included) to cut out the pumpkin pattern twice. Remove the excess FIMO.

3- Now cut two leather-effect FIMO strips in the colors watermelon and saffron yellow and roll the two colors into a 15-cm-long bead. Twist and knead the two cords several times until an even orange mass is formed.

4- Now, using the acrylic roller, roll out the FIMO clay into a 0.5 mm thick sheet and place it on baking paper. Use the cutter to re-cut the pumpkin twice. In addition, for orange pumpkins, you can emboss the face with the embossing of the cookie cutter.

5- Remove the excess and use the cutter to cut out the eyes, nose and mouth on the perforated edges.

6- Now, with the blade, place the orange pumpkins on top of the two black pumpkins and press lightly. Then, with the bead piercing needle, make a hole about 3 mm into the stem of the pumpkin.

7- Place the baking paper on a baking sheet and harden the FIMO earrings for 30 minutes at 130°C in a preheated oven with top/bottom heat. Allow the earrings to cool completely. At this point, attach the ear hooks to the earring hole using jumprings. Done!
