Privacy policy pursuant to art. 13 d. lgs. 196/2003

In compliance with art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, DIY Group Srl informs you that the data provided through the site owned by will be processed for the following purposes:

- identification of customers and processing of data for the performance of promotional, commercial, administrative and/or legal obligations;
- for operational and management requirements;
- for the needs of monitoring the progress of customer relations;
- sending of informative documentation or referring to the above mentioned commercial and administrative practices;

The processing of data will be carried out in full respect of fundamental freedoms without affecting your privacy and dignity, always adopting principles inspired by correctness, lawfulness and transparency and for purposes not exceeding the purposes of collection;
both electronic and manual tools will be used, adopting all appropriate security measures to ensure confidentiality and integrity.
The data processed will not be communicated to subjects without authorisation granted by the Data Controller or the Manager, except for the communication or dissemination of requests, in accordance with the law, by police forces, judicial authorities, information and security bodies or other public bodies for purposes of defence or State security, prevention, detection or repression of crimes.
The processing may also concern the type of so-called "sensitive" data. Such processing can only be authorised with your written consent.
The provision of data is optional but refusal to provide them could prejudice the partial or total execution of the contract.
The data you provide will be processed in the operational and legal offices of DIY Group Srl, the Data Controller. The Data Processor is Barbone Paolo.
Paragraph 2 of art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 gives you the right to request an updated list of the subjects who may come to know the data processed. As interested party, at any time you may exercise all the rights guaranteed by art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 against the Data Controller. Below is the detail of the cited article.

Art. 7 – D. Legislative Decree 196/2003 Right of access to personal data and other rights

1. The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning him/her, even if not yet registered, and their communication in an intelligible form.
2. The interested party has the right to obtain the indication:

a. the origin of the personal data;
b. the purposes and methods of processing;
c. the logic applied in case of processing carried out with the aid of electronic instruments;
d. of the identification data concerning data controller, data processors and the representative designated as per article 5, paragraph 2;
e. of the entities or categories of entity to whom or which the personal data may be communicated and who or which may get to know said data in their capacity as designated representative(s) in the State's territory, data processor(s) or person(s) in charge of the processing.

3. The interested party has the right to obtain:

f. the updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of data;
g. the erasure, anonymization or blocking of data that have been processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they have been collected or subsequently processed;
h. certification to the effect that the operations as per letters a) and b) have been notified, as also related to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected.

4. You have the right to object, in whole or in part:

i. for legitimate reasons to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection; to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or else for the performance of market or commercial communication surveys.
