Jumpers with Christmas motifs for Christmas parties are becoming increasingly popular. But you do not have to buy them separately: you can also print an 'old' jumper yourself with a funny or tasteful Christmas motif. This is easily done with Marabu Textil screen-printing products.

How to do it:

1: Wash, dry and iron the jumper without fabric softener before printing Prepare work materials and cover the work surface.

2: Print out the desired motif and carefully cut it out with a cutter. Glue the stencil with adhesive tape onto the side of the flat screen.

3: You can mix the colours of the textile print to create the desired shade.

4: Place a piece of cardboard, paper or foil between the fabric layers of the stencil to prevent ink from penetrating. Place the screen with the flat side on the jumper, then use a paint knife to apply the paint in a line about 1 cm wide on the upper edge of the screen.

5: Now, with the squeegee, pull the ink without pressure from the top down onto the pattern until all surfaces are covered with ink. Then pull the squeegee with even pressure from top to bottom on the motif to transfer the colour onto the fabric.

6: Then carefully remove the screen from the jumper and place it in another spot. Apply the colour to the screen again and transfer it with the squeegee. (When positioning the screen, pay attention to already printed motifs that are still wet. Do not squeegee the motifs).

7: After printing, carefully remove the screen from the jumper, remove the stencil and clean the screen under running water and let it dry. Allow the jumper to dry as well.

8: Then paint small dots with Fashion Liner shimmer in the spaces between the trees. Allow to dry thoroughly.
